He is survived by his partner, Jennifer Cameron; his daughter, Andrea Gagnon and her partner, Gerald Blaske; and his three beloved grandchildren, Layne, Ripley, and Reese.
He is also survived by his father, Daniel Gagnon, along with his siblings, Daniel and Michelle.
He was preceded in remembrance by his mother, Margaret Gagnon, whose memory remained important throughout his life.

Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, July 8, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and again from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Senate Gymnasium of Ulster County Community College in Stone Ridge, New York.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., also at the Senate Gymnasium.
His inurnment will take place at a later date at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
The family has requested that, in place of flowers, memorial contributions be directed to the Cottekill Fire Company or the Rip Van Winkle District of Scouting America, organizations that reflect the values of service and community that defined his life.
